About Me

As the title suggest's I'm Kirsten.  I'm just an average girl who's totally fanatical about photography!
I love it, and always have.  I was given my first camera at the age of 7 from my grandpa.  So my love of photography started at quite a young age!

For me , photography is about freezing memories and saving them for a lifetime. There's just nothing like looking back at old photos and reminiscing on good times. There have been so many times when I've looked back on photo's I've taken and

I'm instantly reminded of that moment. Even details that I've forgotten, I am able to remember them because I took the time to capture it in a photo.

I love this quote : If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine. SO TRUE right?

I constantly strive to improve my photography so that I can share my experiences with my friends/family and others as best I can. I love photography because you can experience events and places through other people just by looking at their photos. It’s a great way to tell a story as Lewis Hine says. And the better your photos, the better your story.

I studied Accounting & Business Economics at The Auckland University of Technology graduating in 2008 with Bachelor of Business.

I play the piano regularly for the Brentwood SDA Church Youth Choir. My mum worked very hard to pay for all of my grades and I am so grateful to her for that!

I love shopping and I have a small obsession for makeup! I have another side blog here :P At the moment its just basically products that I use and that I love! Or new things that I'm trying.

I belong to a small but oh so cool photography club.  Don't hate! LOL.  The leader of the pack - Steph has her blog here (she's profesh!) and Joy and her sister Jane also have a blog here!  They do some really creative stuff check it out!
